This year marks the Program in Neuroscience's
10th Annual Retreat. The
retreat is a wonderful day spent away from campus, the demands of the
classroom and lab. Faculty, post-docs, students and staff spend time
chatting about the past year, their research endeavors and of course...
playing some Frisbee and enjoying a BBQ luncheon!
During the day graduate students and post-docs associated with the
Program in Neuroscience give short talks about their current research.
There are always a few special presenters, too.
Those students, post-docs and faculty members that are not scheduled to
give formal talks often elect to share their recent work during the
always popular poster session held later in the afternoon.
Lastly, the day always concludes with our Keynote Address. We are
thrilled to have Dr. James Battey, Ph.D.
Director, National Institute of Deafness & Communication Disorders.
